HOW CAN I HELP?

Do you find yourself asking this question at election time? When you look at the millions of voters how can one person make any difference? Here are some easy ways you can MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

  1. Check to be sure you and other family and friends are registered to vote.

  2. Participate in phone banks at your local union hall. These are easy and usually only last a couple of hours. You typically call on other union members and just ask a couple of questions.

  3. Participate in Labor/Neighbor walks. These are usually held on weekends and you are given a list of homes of union members.

    YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Since the last election the Washington State Secretary of State's office has purged Voter Registration files.  This has resulted in thousands of voter registrations being dropped from the list of approved Voter Registrations.

  • You should register to vote if you have not registered to vote in Washington state before.

You should re-register if:

  • You have moved since you last registered.
  • You have had a name change.
  • You did not receive, but should have, a mail in ballot for the last election

To register you can go to the Pierce County Elections office or go online at: www.vote.wa.gov

REMEMBER TO VOTE!  IT IS YOUR RIGHT!
