BEWARE OF BOGUS E-MAILS!

Recently IBEW 483 members working for the City of Tacoma received an e-mail claiming to be from IBEW 483 encouraging them to opt out of the union.  This did not come from IBEW 483 but was sent by the same people that have been spending millions of dollars to take away your right to organize.  IBEW 483 has and always will strive to fulfill the declaration of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers:

Our cause is the cause of human

justice, human rights, human security.

We refuse, and will always refuse, to

condone or tolerate dictatorship or 

oppression of any kind.

We will find and expel from our midst

any who might attempt to destroy, by

subversion, all that we stand for.

This Brotherhood will continue to oppose

Communism, Nazism or any other

subversive "ism."  We will support

our God, our Nations, our Union!

The attempts to coerce and persuade the members of IBEW 483 are not in the interests of the members but in the interests of the people that would like nothing more than to take away your right to a safe workplace, your voice and a dignified standard of living.
